World Cup

In case you did not know, the Ruby World Cup has been played in the last month.
Most of the class were supporting the All Blacks.
Mr Bryan is from England .... it was all going end in tears for at least some of us.

We wrote about some of the early games:

The first team that All blacks played was against Italy and we smash them 76-14. And the next team that we are playing is Portugal and I think the score will be 50-7 so they are in for a hell of a day. I think that the all blacks could have done better but they didn’t want to make the Italians look like fools. The good thing about New Zealand’s pool is that we will make it to the finals no sweat. And I know that we will win the cup and bring it back to where it belongs.

The All Blacks first game was against Italy and it was a great win. The score was 76/14. And they were all great tries. The first two tries were from Captain Richie Mc Caw and it was in the first seven minutes. The next try was from Dougy Howlett in the corner set up by the backs. He scored another two after that. The centre Mils Mulieiena scored a try right under the post set up by Daniel Carter with a chip over the Italians heads. And there were a lot more after that. The next team for the All Blacks to beat are Portugal on the 15th of September and I think the score will be 92/10 to the All Blacks

…During my holidays…

My Holidays begin tomorrow after school
That’s when my step mum picks me up after school
From my mums work...
I’m going to Waiuku tomorrow, Awhitu central to help my nana and granddad on their farm. When my step mum comes to pick me up we are then going back to her dads house and staying the night there and then in the morning we are going to cruise back to Auckland and then on Sunday I think my dad is going to take me to my nana and granddads..
And that’s were I will spend most of my holidays.
