New Class

Hello again!

Term 3 started on Monday, and with it a new Language class.

One of their goals is to get more hits on the blog than the first group.

The first computer writing session involved producing 200 words on either themself or the recent flooding that has struck Kaitaia.

Here is the first completed piece of work:

Flooding

Big water rising moving so close up to the garage going higher and higher so me and my family gathered up together and started to move everything that we had out of the garage. Looking out the window at my sister’s friend’s house knowing that they wouldn’t get flooded out going from inside to out. Carrying everything that was in the garage inside the rain that I was hearing going louder and louder.Water crashing up against the front door step.I was trying to help my dad.

The water was getting closer and closer everything was finished. My mum making us some pizza so we get warm watching TV and playing games so we didn’t get bored keep looking out side seeing all the water blocking up the drains the roads getting covered up so the drivers couldn’t see the road each and every single car driving slow across the water. Watching the news as they said 80 people have been evacuated from Kaitaia not knowing what or who they were all I heard is they had came to Kaitaia college to sleep for a few nights. But in the morning it was all over.
